Building Dinosaurs

In the Shop

Our skilled tech staff carefully fabricate the metal armature and poses for each specimen to achieve life-like postures according to the most accurate scientific literature available.  From the initial concept throughout fabrication and installation, our team has fun bringing dinosaur skeletons to life for museums and gallery's across the country.  We enjoy this work and take great pride in creating each unique specimen.

Our dedicated team arrives on site at each host venue to handle installation of our specimens.  We pay careful attention to the process of packing and shipping our mounts so that they arrive ready to be easily installed in any setting.  We design standardized, foam packed shipping crates which are sized to fit neatly in transport trailers and off load with pallet forks. Our crew, made up of museum professionals, fabricators, and educators have worked together as a team to install shows all across the country.  Our work has taken us into some of the most incredible museums arround, and making this job look easy is something that we enjoy.

In the Field

For the last two decades members of our team have participated each summer in scientific field work, excavating dinosaurs along side some of the greatest paleontologists working today.  As the field of paleontology continues to evolve over time we strive to keep up to date and to maintain our relationships with researchers in academia.  We believe that this hands-on relationship with the recovery of dinosaur fossils and laboratory research inform every build and every installation that we  are involved with, ultimately leading to gallery shows which are steeped in the science of ancient life. The localities where  our dinosaurs are sourced have become a home away from home for many of us and it is a great pleasure to help re-create the ancient worlds with our mounted skeletons, stories, artwork, and photographs.  We have helped arrange public programs for museums and galleries, and we often call upon our scientific colleagues for consultation when designing gallery shows, or museum content.
